This carpet can fold into a three-dimensional chair, supported by the floor. The hope is to encourage users to lay on the carpet. It embraces the concept of minimalism by combining a chair and a carpet into one entity. It is inspired by the possibilities of the carpet forms and the optimizing of tufting technique.

Process
I created this carpet in a team of 2, while I was a student at the Design Academy Eindhoven in the Netherlands. It was created in collaboration with the Textile Museum in Tilburg, Netherlands. It is tufted using 100% wool, 100% merino wool, and 100% mohl hair.
